Lee Russell

MERIDIAN —

    Services for Lee "Cowboy" Russell will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Ray Clark officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Russell, 60, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at his residence.

    Survivors include his wife, Mary Barrett Russell of Meridian; two brothers: Honorable Elvis Hudson of Marion, and Baby Ruth Hudson of Memphis, Tenn.; seven sisters: Tiny Hudson of Seattle, Wash., Bernice (James) Martin of Marion, Ruby (Alfred) Darden of Bailey, Lori Clark of Russell, Janell Hudson of Atlanta, Ga., Marie Hudson of Meridian, and Virginia Jackson of Meridian; step-mother, Mattie Clark of Meridian; six step-children: Dan (Sandra Faye) Barrett Jr. of Meridian, Specialist Four U.S. Army Marcie (Andre) Barrett Boyd of Meridian, Cheryl Stell, Hank Phillips, Jimmy Phillips, and Angela Phillips; one brother-in-law, Willie E. (Jo Sandra) Gandy; and, one sister-in-law, Geraldine (Tommie) Byrd of Meridian.

    Visitation will be Friday, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
