Services for Leola Harper Fillingane will be held today, at 11 a.m., at Newton County Funeral Home South Chapel with Bro. Johnny Collins officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Newton County Funeral Home South in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fillingane, 93, of Newton, formerly of Hickory, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Bedford Care Center.
