MERIDIAN —
Graveside services for Mary Willis Taylor will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 503, south of Hickory, Miss. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor, 89, of Sherwood, Ark., was born on Oct. 23, 1923 to Wright Willis and Mary Thomas Willis. She went to be with the Lord on Nov. 22, 2012.
She attended Ms. Avenue Baptist Church in Aurora, Colo., for many years prior to moving to Arkansas where she was affiliated with Indianhead Lake Baptist Church of Sherwood.
Mary is survived by her husband of 72 years, M.J. Taylor; one sister, Jean Griffis of Marion; son-in-law, Dan Gardner of Bailey, Colo.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Wayne Taylor and daughter, Debra Jean Taylor Garner.
