MERIDIAN —
Services for Helen Clarice Partridge Jones will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Gary Blair officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones, 83, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at her home. She worked as a cosmetologist for many years. Mrs. Jones was a member of Central Baptist Church. She loved her church and was involved in many activities through the years. Mrs. Jones especially loved the ladies in her Sunday School class.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Johnny Jones of Meridian; one daughter, Shirley Smith and her husband, Alex, of Meridian; grandchildren, Alexis Brown and her husband, Daniel, Allison Eastridge and John Richard Smith, all of Meridian; great-grandchildren, Price Gray and Samantha Eastridge, both of Meridian; sister, Joann Hopper and her husband, George, of Meridian; brother Cliff Partridge and his wife, Marlyn, of Meridian; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Partridge; sisters, Ida Adcock, Effie Adcock and Jewel Stephens; and brothers Jessie, Shorty, Grady, Arthur and Bobby Partridge.
Pallbearers will be George Eagle, Leon Ashmore, Bobby Boardman, Jerry Pope, Tommy George and Scott Raley. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Raley, Brother Hugh Foster, Harold Myers and Marcelle Livingston.
Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home.
