Lucille Lang

MERIDIAN —     DeKalb- Services for Lucille Lang will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. James Ruffian officiating.  Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in DeKalb, with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Lang, 100, of DeKalb, went to her eternal rest on Wednesday, August 8th, at Poplar Springs Nursing Home in Meridian.

    Mrs. Lang was born in DeKalb on June 23, 1912, where she lived a full life and was loved dearly by her two sons and three granddaughters.  She was a member of DeKalb Baptist Church, and worked in the DeKalb School lunchroom for many years until she retired.

    Survivors include her daughters-in-law: Carrie Lang of Alexandria, LA and Rosalie Lang of Satsuma, LA; three granddaughters: Karen Ewert of Bentley, LA; Charlene Jones (Lynn) of Pensacola, FL; and Sandra Sensebe (Gary) of Plano, TX; five great- grandchildren:  Brandon Godron, Christopher Jones, Cherie Jones, Casie Jones, and Kathy Sensebe; and one great- great grandchild.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lang, and two sons: Leroy Lang and Emmit Earl Lang.

            Friends may call at Stephens Funeral Home in DeKalb on Sunday from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
