Ida Nell Smith

Retired

Philadelphia — Services for Ida Nell Smith will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia.

Mrs. Smith, 88, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Neshoba County General Hospital.

She was retired with Wells-Lamont in Philadelphia after 38 years of service.

Survivors include two daughters, Doris Vowell and her husband, Carl, and Janice Payne and her husband, Uhl, all of Philadelphia, daughter-in-law, Yvonne Smith of Philadelphia, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Clarence Smith, of Greenville, SC, sister-in-law, Mary Culberson, of Columbus, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Smith and her son, Harold Smith.

Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she was active in WMU. She was a former member of Business and Professional Woman’s Club where she was named Woman of the Year in 1992.

Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren and their spouses.

James E. “Jimmy” Rolison

Business owner and veteran

Pushmataha, Ala. — Services for James E. “Jimmy” Rolison will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Butler, with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rolison, 67, of Pushmataha, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

He was the owner/operator of Rolison Saw Mill and later was employed with Rolison Logging Company. He was a member of the Army National Guard and a veteran of the Berlin Airlift after WW II.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Rolison, of Pushmataha, one daughter, Lisa Davis and her husband, Thomas, of Thomasville, two grandchildren, Jordan Davis and Mary Margaret Davis, four brothers, C. L. Rolison and wife, Gladys, of Butler, Gail Rolison and wife, Sarah, of Jachin, AL, Glynn Rolison and wife Mary Claude, of Pushmataha, and Jerry Rolison, of Lisman, one sister, Fay Rolison Long and her husband, Wayne, of Butler, mother-in-law, Lois Shannon, of Butler.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sara Rolison, and his son, Jim Rolison.

The family requests memorials be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until noon at Bumpers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Rusty Rolison, Eddie Rolison, Wade Rolison, Allen Rolison, John Greene, Tommy Harwell, George Long and Lonnie Shannon. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Allen, Leo Allen, Morris Ford, Kenny Ford, David Ford, Bill Loyed, Bobby Bruister and Maxwell Skelton.

Lonamina Freeman Price

QUITMAN — Services for Lonamina Freeman Price will be held Monday at Pachuta United Methodist Church with Rev. James Kinley officiating. Burial will be in Pachuta Cemetery with Wright’s Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Price, 86, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Lakeside Living Center.

Survivors include four daughters, Gloria Jean Pettis, of Shubuta, June Kinley, of Goodsprings, Ala., Nella Conerly, of Columbus, and Linda Baldwin, of Pachuta, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held today at 5 p.m. at Wright’s Funeral Home in Quitman.

Lois Spears

Retired

Services for Lois Spears will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Quitman with Rev. Larry Reed officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Spears, 77, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at her home.

She was retired.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home.

Margaret Feldman

Newton — Funeral arrangements were incomplete for Margaret Feldman, 75, of Laurel, formally of Newton, who died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at Comfort Nursing Center.

Lois Richardson

Newton — Funeral arrangements were incomplete for Lois Richardson 91, of Decatur, who died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Melba M. Conerly

Funeral arrangements were incomplete for Melba M. Conerly, 88, of Meridian, who died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Maybelle L. Price

Quitman — Funeral arrangements were incomplete for Maybelle L. Price, 85, of Quitman, who died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at her home.
