Curtis Hicks

Veteran

Quitman — Services for Curtis Hicks will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with reverends Glen Lafferty and Grady Crowell officiating. Burial will be in East Pleasant Grove Cemetery n Clarke County with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hicks, 93, of Quitman, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 at his residence.

He was retired from Meridian Transit.

Survivors include his children, Ann Ivey and, J. V., of Quitman, Shirley Weeks and Billy, of Shaw, and Mary Jane Williams and her husband, Donald, of Star City, AR, a sister, Florine Johnson, of Star City, AR, Brenda Britt and husband, Robert, of Clarksdale, and O’Neal White, of Greenville, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Junita Hicks, a son, Marcus Hicks, and his mother, Virgie Cato Hicks.

Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 29 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home.

He was a member of East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army.



Homer Estes

Veteran



Union — Services for Homer Estes will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Ramage officiating. Burial will be in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangement.

Survivors include on daughter, Rachel Estes Pearcy and one son, Randy Estes and his wife, Wynell, three grandchildren, Lauren Estes, Amber Tyson and Brittany Tyson, all of Decatur and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Estes.

He was a member of the Little Rock Masonic Lodge and Beulah Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army during WW II.



Jaden Angel Elizabeth Landrum



Philadelphia — Services for Jaden Angel Elizabeth Landrum will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in North Bend Methodist Church Cemetery in Neshoba County with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Miss Landrum died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia.



Troy W. Stamper



Marion — Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time for Troy W. Stamper, 54, of Marion, who died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.



Brenda Brown

Tuscaloosa — Services for Brenda Brown will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at the McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel in Philadelphia with the Rev. James Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brown, 62, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at her residence in Tuscaloosa, AL.



Frances Aycock Johnson



Services for Frances Aycock Johnson will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at Decatur United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Newton County Memorial Gardens with Newton County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson, 80, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 in New Albany.

Visitation wil be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Decatur United Methodist Church.
