Michael L. Dwyer IV



KIRKWOOD, Mo. — Graveside services for Michael L. Dwyer IV will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, 600 Martin L. King Jr., Drive S.W. in Birmingham, Ala. Cremation Society of St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dwyer, 28, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in St. Louis. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson and nephew.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Nancy McFarland Dwyer and a brother, Jack Dwyer; maternal grandmother, Cooper McFarland of Birmingham; aunts, Jacqueline McFarland, of Birmingham, Deborah Powell and her husband, William, and Karen Espey, all of Meridian, Miss., and Susan Bivens and her husband, Jerry, of Orange Beach, Ala.



Evelyn Myers O’Steen

Services for Evelyn Myers O’Steen will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. O’Steen, 79, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007. She was a homemaker and an active member of First Baptist Church, where she was president of her Sunday School class and involved in other committees.

Survivors include a son, Michael Ellis Myers Sr. and his fiance, Christi LeAnn Abercrombie, of Bailey; a daughter, Karen Myers Vail of Franklin, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Kristi Vail Orlando of Luling, La., and Jennifer Diane Tucker of Collinsville; a grandson, Michael Ellis Myers Jr. of Daleville; a great-grandchild, Koby Michael Orlando of Luling; a sister-in-law, Renee Purcell of Meridian; three stepchildren, Ernest Jr., Debbie and Mary; a cousin, Joan Vaughn; a longtime friend, Helen McMullen; and trusted caregiver, Ora D. Lard.

Visitation will be today from 3 p.m.-6 p.m., at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Myers Jr., Matt Tucker, Tommy Brewer, Michael King, George Hill and J.B. Barnett.



Abigayle “Abby” Renee Johnson

Services for Abigayle “Abby” Renee Johnson will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Infant Johnson, 5 months, of Meridian, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at University Hospital, Jackson. Mid-Way Baptist Church is her church family.

Survivors include her parents, Randy and Crystal Johnson of Meridian; a brother, Hunter Johnson; a sister, Emma Lou Johnson; her grandparents, Steve and Michelle Carlisle and the late Mitzi Carlisle, Tim and Diane Trammell and Randy N. Johnson Sr., all of Meridian.



Ola Mae Buckley Lockett

Retired



Services for Ola Mae Buckley Lockett will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at New Fellowship Baptist Church, with the Rev. Irving King officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry & Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lockett, 84, of Enterprise, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007. Survivors include a granddaughter, Lisa Davis Burns of Enterprise; three sons, Randolph Lockett (Lillie) and Allison Lockett (Dorothy), all of Enterprise, and Floyd Lockett of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother; six sisters; one grandchild, four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 9 a.m.-11 a.m., at the church.
