McArthur J. Lofton



Services for McArthur J. Lofton will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Hopson officiating. Burial will be in Little Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Toomsuba.

Mr. Lofton, 50, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Heartfelt Hospice.

Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.



Audie Mae Glicco



Services for Audie Mae Glicco will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mario Solorzano officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Glicco, 85, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was former longtime owner of Meridian Produce Co. (The Bananna House).

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Glicco of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Natalie Dayton and her husband, Jeff, of Philadelphia, Lisa Bechtold and her husband, Mark, of Katy, Dereck Glicco of Meridian and Domonic Durrance of Margate, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Steven Bauer, Harley Wright, Hans Bechtold, Cynthia Mae Bechtold and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Victor Glicco and a son, Mickey Glicco.

Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus. Honorary pallbearers will be Domonic Durrance and Steve Bauer.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic School or Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.



Virgie Mae Jones



NEWTON — Services for Virgie Mae Jones will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Louin. Burial will be in Shelby Cemetery. Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jones, 72, of Louin, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, in Bay Springs.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the church.



Wennis Brown

Retired



Services for Wennis Brown will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church in Conehatta. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown, 69, of Newton, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, in his home.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. at the funeral home in Newton.



Irene T. Hopson

Services for Irene T. Hopson will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tomola Church of God with the Rev. Willie Jefferson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hopson, 75, of Lauderdale, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.



Essie Clark



Services for Essie Clark will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Marion with the Rev. Fredrick Crowell officiating. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Clark, 84, of Marion, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital.





Betty Francis Naylor

Retired East Mississippi State Hospital employee



Services for Betty Francis Naylor will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel with the Rev. David Viverette officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Naylor, 63, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Riley Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two siblings.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the community chapel.



Lillie Pearl Campbell



NEWTON — Services for Lillie Pearl Campbell will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Warren Hill United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Campbell, 78, of Louin, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, in her home.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the church.
