James “Jamie” Lewis Moulds

Restaurant worker



Services for James “Jamie” Lewis Moulds will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Tabernacle with the Revs. Chuck Overby, Lane Busby and Jack Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moulds, 33, of Meridian, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a former employee of News Restaurant.

Survivors include his wife, Charelle Byrd Moulds, of Meridian; daughters, Ashton Moulds, Bambi Moulds, Sheila Ray Moulds and Candy Moulds, all of Meridian; his mother, Vickie Moulds, of Meridian; a sister, Angela Gardner and husband Rick, of Meridian; brother, Raymond Moulds, of Meridian,; mother- and father-in-law, Jack and Sherry Bonner, of Meridian, sister-in-law, Carrie McDonald, and husband Jay, of Meridian; brothers-in-law, Larry Beall, of Louisiana and Jimmy Bonner, of Meridian; four nieces, Sheena Secrist, Hannah Gardner, Madison McDonald and Jennifer Moulds; four nephews, Ellis Gardner, Jason Moulds, Josh Moulds and Cameron McDonald; two great nephews and two great nieces and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Ray Moulds, sister, Sheila Secrist, grandparents, Elmer and Maxine Sharp, and George and Nannie Moulds.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Sharp, Andy Sharp, Cooper Keeton, Jessie Keeton, Bobby Ray Ware, Daniel Keeton and Ken Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ellis Gardner, Allen Rutledge and J. D. Watson.

Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.



Helen Jeanette Kelley Mazingo

BUTLER, Ala. — Services for Helen Jeanette Kelley Mazingo will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Derrick Clark, Donald Turner and Michael Elliot officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Gilbertown.

Mrs. Mazingo, 65, of Gilbertown, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Miss. Mrs. Mazingo was born in Laurel, Miss., on Aug. 5, 1942.

Survivors include her husband, James Wendell Mazingo, of Gilbertown; daughters Mary Carol Newton and husband, Billy, of Gilbertown, Andrea Elaine Chadwick and husband, James Cecil, of Silas, Betty Rebecca Peters and husband, Brent, of Billings, Mont., Christy Jeanette Mazingo Logan, of Gilbertown; brothers, Evan Lamar Kelley, of Fairhope, and Frank Kelley, of North Carolina, and Claude Lee Kelley Jr. of Allentown, Penn.; five sisters, Lorine Turner, of Land, Alice Laurine Chappell, of Toxey, Effie Wright, of Land, Sue Allen, of Meridian, and Wandis Todd, of Tennessee; five grandchildren, William Jason Newton, Michael Shane Newton, Amber Kristen Chadwick, Suellen Hope Calhoun, and Chelsie Runnette Tyson, and two step-grandchildren, Britny Peters and Cameron Peters.

Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ray Williamson Snell

Veteran



NEWTON — Services for Ray Williamson Snell, 84, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. David Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Snell was retired from the U.S. Post Office and had worked in his fathers business, the Bob J. Snell Candy Co., for several years before that. He was also a WWII veteran while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the VFW and also a member of the E.J. Knox-King Solomon Lodge #130 F&AM.;

Survivors include, brother, Reese Harris Snell and his wife, Carolyn, of Hattiesburg, three nieces, Sandy Snell Booth, Linda Snell McComb, and Jennifer Gullette Boyd, one nephew, Bob Jackson Snell II, great nieces and nephews, Katey Evans, Derek Evans, Jesse Boyd, Meredith Eason, Morgan McComb, Haley Booth, Abby Booth, Riley Snell, Reese Snell II, Raegan Snell, and Ryder Snell.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bob Snell and Ella Williamson Snell, brother, Robert Jefferson Snell, sister, Mary Kate Snell Gullette and niece Julia Kate Gullette Evans.

Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.



Mary Beatrice Moore Brown



NEWTON — Services for Mary Beatrice Moore Brown will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Luke Lane officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown, 96, of Park Ridge, Ill., formerly of Newton, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at St. Matthew Nursing Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Newton.

Survivors include her sons, Gaines Andrew Brown of Houston, Texas, Henry Foley Brown of Houston, Miss., Harry Moore Brown of Park Ridge; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaines A. Brown, Sr.

Visitation will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.



Roosevelt Brown



Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Roosevelt Brown, 81, who died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital.



McArthur Lofton



Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for McArthur Lofton, of DeKalb, who died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Heartfelt Hospice.
