Patricia Pat Wilder Touchstone Wesson



Services for Patricia Pat Wilder Touchstone Wesson were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Marietta, Ga., with the Rev, Steve Echols officiating. Barham Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Wesson, 70 , of Georgia, died Wednesday Sept. 26, 2007, in Atlanta, Ga.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Wesson, a son, Keith Touchstone, a daughter, Melanie Fink, and three grandchildren.



Brian Matthew Barnett



Services for Brian Matthew Barnett will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Keith Grubbs and Benjamin Laird officiating. Burial will be in Gordon cemetery.

Mr. Barnett, 21, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

He was employed as a contractor.

Survivors include: His father, Levi Jack Barnett and wife Debby, his mother, Lawana Lawson and husband Mike, brothers, Levi Scott Barnett and Tommy Jack Young, sisters, Megan Lawson and Michelle Lawson, step brothers, Kevin and Eric Dearman, grandparents, Glen and Dot Gordon, James and Hazel Lewis, Junior and Mae Archie, his fiance, Missy Ethridge, all of Meridian; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Levi Scott Barnett, Indiana Matthew Nicholson, Blane Harris, Tyler Barnett, K-Roe Cross, William Nause, Josh Brantley, and David Monk.



Grace Montgomery Dean



NEWTON — Services for Grace Montgomery Dean will be held today at 3 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Newton with Dr. David Rives and Dr. Bryce Evans officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dean, 87, of Columbus, formally of Newton, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Trinity Health Care.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: Two sons, John Dean and wife Sandy of Brandywine, Md., Mark and wife Tina of Collinsville, one daughter, Quilla Faye Everett and husband Charles of Columbus, six grandchildren, Becky Hayes and husband Keith, Carol Ann James and husband Patrick, Kelly Dean, Christy Cox and husband Doug, Michael Dean, McKenna Grace Dean, 5 great-grandchildren, Cooper James, Mason Dean, Katie Hayes, Molly James, and Marley Cox.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Simmons Dean.

Visitation will be today at 1 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Doug Cox, Keith Hayes, Patrick James, Ron Holsonback, Tony Adams, and Frank Baucum.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Poplar Springs community, and the Trinity Health Care staff.

Memorial contributions may be made to Palmer Home for Children, P.O. Box 746 Columbus, MS 39703, or to the Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 297, Newton, MS 39345.



Jeanne Dement



Graveside services for Jeanne Dement will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Dement, 85, died, Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

She was a bookkeeper at Dement Printing Company.

Survivors include: her sister, Margaret Dement, brother-in-law, Bill Wayne Drinkwater, 12 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews, and one great-great-great nephew.

Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.



Essie B. Clark



Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Essie B. Clark who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital.



Irmertee Roach



Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Irmertee Roach, 92, of Meridian who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at her home.
