Rudolph Jennings Jr.



Services for Rudolph Jennings Jr. will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at 31st Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. S.L. Thompson officiating. Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jennings, of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Houston Hospice.

Survivors include his siblings, Debra Jennings, Edna Cole, Gwendolyn Jennings, Patricia Sims, Donamechie Jennings, Tony Jennings, Mance Jennings and Allen Jennings; his children, Zachary Bourrage and Alicia Jennings; his wife, Vicki Jennings and several other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.



Anthony Leeland Weir



Services for Anthony Leeland Weir will be held today at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Boles officiating. Burial will be in Old Marion Cemetery in Russell.

Infant Weir, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his parents, Anthony Q. and Jackeline R. Weir of Meridian; a brother, Anthony Jackson Weir; grandparents, Paul and Paula Gilbert, Arnold “Toby” Weir, all of Meridian, Anibal and Aramedis Sanchez, Sr. of David Chiriqui, Panama; great-grandmother, Bernice Weir of Savoy; aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Judi Rodgers, Arnold “Rusty” and Tina Weir Jr., Pete and Toyyua Mazella, Paul and Lori Gilbert Jr., Anel Sanchez, Anibal Sanchez Jr., Carlos Sanchez and Anibal Sanchez III and several cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Harold Hamburg, Viva Mae Hamburg, J.D. Weir, J.W. Scott, Ruth Scott, Magdelena Consepcion, Rosa Sanchez, Diomedes Sanchez and Benancio Rios.

Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.



Warren J. Peebles



JACKSON — Services for Warren J. Peebles will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Newton. Mark Seepe Funeral Directors and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Peebles, 61, of Newton, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, in his home.

Survivors include his wife, Sherryl; children, Dr. Todd Peebles, Kala Peebles Manalo, Denisa Davis, Chad Breland and three siblings and 13 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.



J.O. Young

Retired



PHILADELPHIA — Services for J.O. Young will be held today at 11 a.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dan Howard officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia.

Mr. Young, 84,of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.

Survivors include his daughters, Felecia Owens, Shirley Jackson, Glynda Hollandsworth; a son, Hayward Young; two step-daughters; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; and one sister.



Tim Burt



PHILADELPHIA — Services for Tim Burt will be held today at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Philadelphia with the Rev. Kenan Ryan officiating. Burial will be Cedarlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Burt, 55, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, September 27, 2007, in his home.

Memorials may be made to Northside Park Renovation Project in Philadelphia.



Jeanne Dement



Graveside services for Jeanne Dement will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Dement, 85, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

NEWTON — Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Grace T. Dean, 87, of Columbus, who died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Trinity Health Care in Columbus.
