Audrey R. Marshall Byrd

Nurse



Services for Audrey R. Marshall Byrd will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dennis Ellingburg and John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Byrd, 78, of the Union community, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at her residence. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse for Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She has been retired for 20 years. Mrs. Byrd was a member of Union Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, “Na Na,” and sister.

Survivors include her husband of 141⁄2 years, Frank Byrd, of Meridian, two daughters, Linda Simpson and husband Ron, of Columbus, and Jenifer Gardner and husband, Ray, of Colorado Springs, Colo. One son, Ross “Tiny” Marshall and his wife, Sheryl, of Meridian. Four grandchildren, Kathy Bushway and her husband, Robbie, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Hank Gardner and his wife, Dawn, of Collinsville, Daniel and Phillip Goodwin, of Columbus, and Thomas Marshall, of Meridian. One sister, Kay Speed, of Lumberton, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vance Perkins Marshall and sisters Lucille Baxter, Eula Henley, Helen Beall, and Estelle Russell, brothers, Pascal Reyer, Cleo Reyer, Harmon Reyer and Jim Reyer, of Lumberton.

Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. -8 p.m. at the funeral home.



Mary R. Odom

Factory worker/bus driver



DEKALB — Services for Mary R. Odom will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Belmount Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Eastman Moses officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Philadelphia with E. E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Odom, 57, of DeKalb, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at Riley Hospital.

She was a retired factory worker and bus driver.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m. -7 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the church.
