Francis Henry Williams

Retired



BUTLER, Ala. — Services for Francis Henry Williams will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Mr. Williams, 80, of Butler, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Miss. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Kitty Williams; sons, Rusty Williams and Robert Williams and a daughter, Daphne Wachter; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.



Ida Eakins



Services for Ida Eakins will be held today at 2 p.m. at Alpha-Omega Holiness Church in Toomsuba with the Rev. Freddie Ford Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery in Cuba, Ala. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Eakins, 66, of Toomsuba, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, in Mobile, Ala.



Brandon Scott Jenkins

PHILADELPHIA — Services for Brandon Scott Jenkins will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Christian Life Apostolic Church in Kemper County with the Revs. Hank Pilgrim and Bennie Alford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jenkins, 24, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Port Arthur, Texas.

Survivors include his mother, Janet Copeland; his father, Randy Jenkins; daughters, Destiny and Abbie Jenkins; one brother; his grandparents and five sisters.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.



Harold Albert Russell

Retired



Services for Harold Albert Russell will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Chunky United Methodist Church with the Revs. Gerald Chaney and Aubrey Howard officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Hickory. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Russell, 63, of Chunky, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at the State Veterans Home in Jackson. He was a veteran of Vietnam. He was a retired lens grinder for Eye Glass Plus Lab. He was a member of Chunky United Methodist Church and president of the church’s Mens Club.

Survivors include his sisters, Lois Smith and her husband, Thomas, Edna Jones and her husband, Charles, all of Chunky, Faye Bishop and her husband, Wayne, of Bailey and Betty Wilson of Wichita Falls, Texas; brothers, Johnny Russell and his wife, Denise, of Chunky, Edwin Russell and his wife, Nancy, of Decatur and Edward Russell of Wichita Falls, Texas; an aunt, Elizabeth Allen of Meridian; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Russell Jr., Dennis Jones, Tony Jones, James Smith, Robert Ford, and Cayce Bufkin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Ellis, Rodger Hodgins, Dale Winstead, Peter Russell, David Collins, Johnny Collins, Brad Gressett, Kevin Wilson, David Russell, Marvin Dobson and Juaquin Gonzales.

Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church.
