Jamie Furr

MERIDIAN —

 

    PHILADELPHIA--Services for Jamie Furr will be held today at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernell Daniels officiating.  Burial will follow in Coy Methodist Cemetery in Neshoba County with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 

    Mr. Furr, 30, of Neshoba County, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.

    He was a graduate of Neshoba Central High School, had attended East Central Community College and the Golden Triangle Branch of East Mississippi Community College.  He had worked as an electrician in construction at the Kemper County Coal Plant.  Mr. Furr was Baptist by faith. 

    Survivors include his mother, Debra Daniels Fox of Philadelphia; father, Jimmy Furr of Jackson; son, Ryder Keith Furr of Philadelphia; brother, Josh Furr, of Philadelphia; paternal grandparents, James N. and Bobbie Furr, Jr., of Jackson.

    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, G. D. and Bobbie Daniels.
