Winston Wayne Hall

MERIDIAN —



    Services for Winston Wayne Hall will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at New Hope Baptist Church, with Revs. Douglas Goodman and James Gibson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Hall, 64, of Meridian, was born on Sept. 5, 1948 in Stonewall, and was the youngest of 11 children. He left this world on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at his home. He was retired from Alignment Tire and Brake and was a member and deacon of New Hope Baptist Church.

    Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Glenda Smith Hall of Meridian; daughter, Kendra Hall Goodman and her husband Douglas of Meridian; son, Patrick Wayne Hall and his wife Holly of Louisville; six grandchildren: Daniel and Matthew Goodman of Meridian, and Caleb, Cody, Hannah and Brayden Hall of Louisville; sisters: Norma Combest of Enterprise, and Ruzene Hollingshead and her husband Thomas of Nanafilia, Ala.; father-in-law, Glenn Smith; brother-in-law, Larry Smith of Lancaster, S.C.; and, several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Lena Hall of Stonewall; and, seven brothers and sisters.

    In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Cancer Center of Meridian or the American Cancer Society.

    Pallbearers will be Unrue Goodman, Tommy Cook, Charles Easom, Mike Carr, Mike Waltman, Ronnie Reed, Terry Dalton, Jeff Peters, and Bill Denning.

    Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Pat Martin Sunday School Class at New Hope.

    Visitation will be held Friday, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the funeral home, and 30 minutes prior to services at the church.
