Funeral services for Albert Sidney Watkins will be held today at 11 a.m. at Midway Baptist Church with Bro. Gilbert Allan and Bro. Mark McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery with Newton County Funeral Home North in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Watkins, 64, of Newton, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Infinity Hospice in Marion. Mr. Watkins was a Vietnam veteran.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
