Billie Jo Powers Culpepper

MERIDIAN —



    Services for Billie Jo Powers Culpepper will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Pine Grove Church in the Martin Community. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Culpepper, of the Martin Community, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. She loved her Lord and her family with all her heart. She was born Sept. 20, 1943, in Winslow, Ind., to Joseph and Billie Powers.

    Survivors include her son, Joe Howard; daughters: Sherry Culpepper, Jeanna Mars, Carla Bonner, Jamie Pogue her husband Kenny, and Suzanne Benson and husband Doug; grandchildren: Jay Maone, Beau Mixon and his wife Alicia, Nicole Howard, Micky Howard and his wife Berea, April Harris and her husband, Korey, Aaron Pogue and his wife Courtney, David Pogue and his fiancé Angelia Partridge, Lawrence Bonner and his wife Jessica, Jeremy Pogue and his wife Lauren, John Mark Benson and his wife Bethany, Laura Huff and her husband Jeremy, Samuel Benson, Shum Benson, Spencer Benson, and Curtis Benson; great-grandchildren: Kaden Neal, Alayna Mixon, Jessie Mixon, Gabe Howard, Jannet Mixon, Kennedy Pogue, Reece Pogue, Ansley Howard, and Landi Pogue; brother, Frank Powers; sisters: Jean Ann Davila and Jo Ann Fears; aunt, Mildred Skelton; and many special nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly.

    She was preceded in death her husband, Landis Culpepper; parents, Joseph and Ruth Powers, and Billie Jean Brewster; brother, William Powers; and son, Mickey Landis Culpepper.

    Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

    Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.

    Visitation will be Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., at the church.
