MERIDIAN —
Services for Margarette Herring Baskin will be held Friday, at 11 a.m., at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, with Revs. Leon Ballard and Frank Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Baskin, 88, of Meridian, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Baskin McCollum and her husband Jerry of Meridian; grandson, Mitch Peek and his wife Rhonda of Petal; step-grandchildren: Michael McCollum of Louisville, Ky., and Cindy Robert and her husband Mack of Pensacola, Fla.; three great-grandchildren: Addison Rush, Sara-Ashley, and Hayden Scott Peek; three step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; and, sisters: Mary Frances Herring Henderson of Mobile, Ala., and Mae Belle Cousins of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford L. Baskin.
