Services for Frances Molpus will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, with Revs. Douglas Goodman and James Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Molpus, 90, of Meridian, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
She was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Janie Goodman of Meridian; grandchildren, Douglas Goodman and his wife Kendra of Meridian, Brian Goodman of Meridian, Michelle Whitten and her husband Brad of Marietta, Ga., Lee Molpus of Adger, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew Goodman, Jonathan, Lindsey and Reese Whitten, Courtney and Conner Molpus; extended family, Bill and Wanda Fontaine, Michael, Lisa and Haley McCarter, Ryan, Ashley, and Erin Fontaine; sisters-in-law, Lucille Molpus of Meridian, and Wilma Molpus Tate of Kingsville, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie E. Molpus and son, Charles Wayne Molpus.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at New Hope Baptist Church on Thursday.
