MERIDIAN —
Services for Ethel M. Dancy will be held Saturday, at 12 noon, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 49th Avenue, with Rev. Larry Watson officiating. Body will arrive one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dancy, 65, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct.5, 2012, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was employed at Wal-Mart for 25 years.
Survivors include one son, Ricky A. Dancy of Meridian; one daughter, Latonya Dancy, of Meridian; two brothers: Eugene Carter Jr. and Arthur Carter, both of Meridian; and one sister, Estelle Lewis of Macon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Dancy; her mother, Emma R. Carter; and her father, Eugene Carter Sr.
Visitation will be Friday, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
