Ruby Lee Martin Griffin

MERIDIAN —     Services for Ruby Lee Martin Griffin will be held Monday March 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church in Clark County, with Reverend John Edwards and Kyle Routzahn officiating. Burial will be in Union Baptist Church in Clarke County with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Griffin, 97, of Meridian died March 2, 2013 at Golden Living Center.

    Survivors include her daughter, Laverne Banes and husband Joe of Meridian; son, Bobby Joe Griffin and wife Audrey of Meridian; grandchildren: Teresa Reedy and husband Max of Bayse, Virginia, Suzette Banes of Ft. Worth, Texas, Wendy Shirley, Billy Griffin, Randy Griffin and Danny Griffin all of Meridian; seven great-grandchildren;  three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosier Griffin; son, Billy Rosier Griffin; parents, George and Allie Martin and five brothers and four sisters.

    Family request memorials be made to: Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund;   159 Hwy. 514 Meridian MS.  39301

    Pallbearers will be: Grandsons, Honorary:  Dorcas Sunday School Class.
