William Thomas McLemore

BRANDON —     Services for William Thomas (W.T.) will be held today, at 12 noon, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon. Burial will be in Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Meridian with Military Honors, at 3 p.m., with Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Brandon in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. McLemore, 90, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. W.T. was born on Jan. 21, 1922, in Meridian, to the late Lee Shackelford and Ruth Graham McLemore. He was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He then worked for 35 years with Commercial Credit, retiring as manager/district manager. Mr. McLemore had been a resident of Rankin County since 1987. He was a member of Brandon Baptist Church and was a Mason with the Hattiesburg Masonic Lodge.

    Survivors include two sons: John McLemore and wife Jenny, and Don McLemore and wife Paula, all of Brandon; and, five grandchildren: Joshua McLemore, Hannah McLemore, Zachery McLemore, Joe Dineen, and Paige Dineen.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Weeks Stanton McLemore; brother, Lewis “Buddy” McLemore; and sister, Dorothy Lee McLemore Moore.
