MERIDIAN —
Services for Louise Molpus Stearns will be held Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Smithey officiating. Burial will be in the Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Stearns, 93, of Meridian, went to join her husband Jack on Friday, July 13, 2012. Her simple and beautiful life made their home into a sanctuary where the sorrowing could find comfort; the erring could find forgiveness, and the lonely found love.
Survivors include her sons: James Cameron Stearns and wife Aggie, and Donald Howard Stearns and wife Nonny; grandchildren: Kelly Stearns, Lara Collins, Jennifer Labonte, Erica Paczesny and husband Pat, Cameron Stearns, Abby Abel, and David Stearns and wife Joanie; great-grandchildren: Matthew Collins, Jonathan Collins, Chelsey Collins, Riley Stearns, and Jackson Abel; seven step-great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Carpenter; and, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stearns; parents, Cameron and Beatrice Molpus; and sister, Nell Simmons.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Gibson, Mike Mitchell, David Stearns, Kelly Stearns, Robby Kidd and Billy Beddingfield.
