Glen Jackson

PHILADELPHIA —     Services for Glen Jackson will be held Friday, at 2 p.m., at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Thames and Rev. Michael Gray officiating. Burial will be in Bond Methodist Cemetery in Neshoba County with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Jackson, 94, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at his home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. He served as Neshoba County Circuit Clerk for 20 years and was a farmer all of his life. Mr. Jackson was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Neshoba County Shrine Club, Philadelphia Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star.

    Survivors include his grandson, John Jackson and his wife Meredith; and, great-grandchildren: Jordan Jackson and Drew Jackson, all of Starkville.

    Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Earle Jackson; son, Garry Jackson; and parents, Wade and Annie Jackson.

    Pallbearers will be Gerald Bryant, Mike McKay, Chris Jackson, Bill Cox, Michael Gray, Tommy Joyner, Charles Allen, and Kevin Jackson.

    Visitation will be Friday, from 12 noon until service time, at the funeral home.
