Curtis Rawson

MERIDIAN —

    Graveside services for Curtis Rawson will be held today, at 2:30 p.m., at Coker’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Davey Wilkinson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Rawson, 90, of the Vimville Community, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

    Survivors include his daughters: Recie Green of the Vimville Community, Linda Buckalew and her husband Danny of Whynot Community, Sandra Stone and her husband Gene of the Vimville Community, Shirley Price of the Vimville Community, and Amy Pope and her husband Jerry of the Vimville Community; grandchildren: Jeff Buckalew and his wife Tracy, Stephanie Weins and her husband Frank, Brad Buckalew and his wife Christy, Brandie Tiller and her husband Byron, Tyler Pope and his wife Autumn, Dobber Green and his wife Amanda, Dex Stone and Chelsea Green; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Rawson.

    The family requests memorials be made to Coker’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 3042 Jeff Davis School Road, Meridian, MS 39301.

    Pallbearers will be Jeff Buckalew, Brad Buckalew, Frank Weins, Tyler Pope, Byron Tiller, Dex Stone and James McDaniel.

    Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Harper, Jason Harper and Jeremy Harper.

    Visitation will be today, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30, at the church.
