Deborah Faye Lindsey Gunn

MERIDIAN —



    QUITMAN —Services for Deborah Faye Lindsey Gunn will be Monday, July 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Enterprise Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Waddell and Rev. Bill Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  

    Mrs. Gunn, of Enterprise, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at her residence.

    She worked as a registered nurse at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical center for over 37 years where she touched many lives.  Her caring and compassion for everyone was endless.

    She is survived by her husband of 42 years Mike; son Steven and his wife, Lorrie; daughters, Robin and her husband, Michael; and Lindsey and her husband, Scott;  grandchildren, Caleb Gunn, Brianna Gunn, Harley Layne Moreland, Hannah Grace Gunn, and Noah Dotson, all of Enterprise; her mother and stepfather, Ware and Sybil Mason of Isney, Ala.; sister Dianne Thomas and her husband Jamey of Meridian; brothers Frank E. "Buddy" Lindsey, Jr. of Enterprise; and Mike Lindsey and his wife Debbie of Meridian; brother-in-laws, Martin Gunn and his wife Jean; and Scotty Gunn and his wife Lisa; sister -in-law Deborah Mallard and her husband Richard, all of Enterprise; nephews; David Holloway, Nathan Holloway, Matthew Valentine, Chris Lindsey, Reggie Goldman, and Blake Gunn; nieces; Tiffany Thompson, Jessica Lindsey, Stephanie Goldman, Lynn Becton, and Chasity Hamburg; a special caregiver, Emily Adams, and special friends, Patricia Lindsey and Linda Brashear.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Frank E. Lindsey, Sr.; father and mother-in-law, Harvey and Eileen Gunn; stepfather Curtis Snowden; uncle, Sam Donald; and a great niece, Lynn Mason.

    Pallbearers will be Kenneth Murray, Tommy Smith, Joe Owen, Steve Helms, Brian Freeman, and Terry Wayne Simpson.

    Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Doug Phillips, Irby Lang, Scott Stokes, J. W. Jones, Dr. E. M. "Sonny" Jones, Dr. Benjamin E. Box, Sr., Roger Shirley, Mark McPhail, Benson Holland, Kelly Vaughn, Phillip Collins, and all employees on 2East at JARMC.

    Visitation will be today, 5-8 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home. The body will be at the church for visitation on Monday at 1 p.m.      Friends may sign an online guest register at www.wrightsfuneral.com.
