Gene Arnold Brumett, Sr.

MERIDIAN —

    UNION — There will be a private family memorial for Mr. Gene Arnold Brumett, Sr. with interment in Kentucky at a later date. Milling Funeral Home of Union is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Brumett, Sr., 78, of Union, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at his residence.

    He was a member of Pinckney Baptist Church and a Mason of Pinckney Lodge.

    Survivors include: Loving wife of 58 years, Tommie Brumett of Union; two daughters, Pam Eldridge and husband Phil of Union and Becki Fowler and husband Chuck of Lauderdale; son, Gene Brumette, J.r and wife Ellen of Dothan, Ala.; seven grandchildren: Sandi Thrash and husband Bruce and Tommy Baldwin, all of Union, Billy Baldwin and wife Heather of North Carolina, Nikki Joiner and husband Jeremy, Danny Harris and wife Ashley, all of Meridian, Jess Brumett of Virginia and Matt Brumett of Tennessee; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Gutherie and Peggy Druin, both of Kentucky; and three brothers, Bobby Brumett, David Brumett and Donnie, all of Kentucky.

    Mr. Brumett was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Thelma Brumett; one brother, Billy Brumett; and one sister, Joy Brumett.
