Thomas E. Sides

MERIDIAN —     Services for Thomas E. “Tom-Tom” Sides will be held Thursday, at 10:30 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Sides, 64, of Meridian, died at his residence. He was retired from Winn Dixie after 40 years where he was a butcher. Mr. Sides was a veteran of the Marine Corps where he proudly served his country in the Vietnam War.

    Survivors include his brothers: Billy and Faye Sides, Michael Sides, and Jimmy and Lynda Sides, all of Meridian; sister, Patricia and Dexter Reynolds of Enterprise; nieces and nephews: Kevin Sides of Bay Springs, Jason Sides of Las Vegas, Nev., Casey Sides of Meridian, Clayton Harper of Meridian, Derek Reynolds of Union, and Greg Reynolds of Meridian; aunt, Hazel Soares of Meridian; cousin, Jerry and Eileen Soares of Meridian; numerous great-nieces and nephews; a special great-niece, Madalyn Rose Sanders; and, numerous close friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Mary Sue Sides.

    Visitation will be today, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
