Services for Dorothy “Dot” Johnson will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church Union with Rev. Jon Martin and Rev. Bill Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Union City Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Johnson, 96, of Union, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at her residence.
Survivors include her grandson, Ashley Burroughs and wife Jodie of Union; two great-granddaughters: Cecilia and Stella Burroughs of Union; and niece, Gail Ferrell and husband Jimmy of Birmingham, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin H. Johnson; daughter, Linda Anne Burroughs; parents, George and Mattie Worthen; and, three siblings: George Worthen, Melba White, and Herbert Worthen.
Pallbearers will be Mike McMahan, Paul Lowery, Joe Williams, Mark Herrington, Edward Germany, Marcus Herrington, Joe Cleveland, and Dean Russell.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 12 noon until 2 p.m., at the church.
