Mildred S. Wright

MERIDIAN —



    Services for Mrs. Mildred S. Wright will be held Monday at 11 a.m at Webb Chapel with Bro. Jerry Whitener officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Wright, 92, of Meridian, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan.10, 2013 at Fisher Care where she had been cared for the past three years. She attended 8th Avenue Baptist Church and New Life Fellowship. Mildred was a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a dear friend to all she knew.

    She is survived by her sons, Billy F. Morrison of Meridian, and David C. Wright of Jackson, Tenn.; her daughter, Faye Thompson of Cordova, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

    She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and a son, Stanley B. Wright.

    Pallbearers will be Shane Workman, Chris Thompson, and Billy Roy Morrison.

    In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Fisher Care, LLC, 5035 Fisher Road, Meridian, MS, 39301.
