MERIDIAN —
Brenda Joyce Ross Reynolds, born on Jan. 21, 1941, in Meridian, passed from this earth, at her home in Springfield, La., on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012. Brenda was the beloved wife of 54 years of Raybourne M. Reynolds Sr., and beloved mother of Valli Reynolds Harry (Jim Harry), Raybourne M. Reynolds Jr., Faith Ann Reynolds, and Lonnie Cameron Reynolds (Stacie Kleyle Reynolds). She was the beloved grandmother (Meme) of Casey, Ross, Hannah, Andrew, and Camille Reynolds. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Hazel Ross, sister of the late Lila Ross, and sister of Eric Ross, all of Meridian.
Brenda Reynolds was many things to many people. She was wife, mother, meme, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, artist and storyteller. She loved her family and made it her life’s work to be the best wife and mother she could be to her husband, children and grandchildren.
Brenda was a very spiritual woman and had a very close relationship with God. She saw the good in everyone and captured her love of God and the miracle of nature in her paintings and the stories she told about life and living.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on Friday, at 2 p.m., at Woodland Baptist Church, 29729 Hwy 1037 (Blood River Road), Springfield, La., A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
