MERIDIAN —
Services for Ethel M. Dancy will be held Saturday, at 12 noon, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Watson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dancy, 65, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a Wal-Mart employee for 25 years.
Survivors include her son, Ricky A. Dancy of Meridian; daughter, LaTonya Dancy of Meridian; brothers: Eugene Carter Jr. and Arthur Carter, both of Meridian; and sister, Estelle Lewis of Macon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Dancy; her mother, Emma R. Carter; and her father, Eugene Carter Sr.
Visitation will be today, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
