MERIDIAN —
Services for James Franklin Sudbury,JR. will be held Thursday at11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Francis Cosgrove officiating.Burial will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery Newton,Ms,with Berry & Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr.Sudbury of Meridian died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.Mr.Sudbury's occupational career included working as a Direct Care Worker at East Mississippi State Hospital. Serving his country in the United States Navy and working for Lauderdale County Sheriff Department.
Survivors included his wife Bettye Sudbury; Six children, Greg Henry and wife Nancy of Flint Michigan, Queshaun S' Vante Sudbury of Meridian; Quinta S. Thomas of Meridian; Shannon Wade Sudbury and wife Tiffany of Yazoo City MS; Vashonda Wooten of Nashville TN. His mother Mrs. Mamie B. Sudbury of Meridian MS; two brothers John Sudbury and wife Betty of Oxon Hill, MD; Leslie Sudbury and wife Audrey of Marietta GA; One sister, Evoyne Parnell and husband Kenneth of Meridian MS; Eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Berry & Gardner Funeral Home.
