Dale Duell Palmer

MERIDIAN —

    Services for Dale Palmer will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Webb Chapel with Bro. Jim Smith and Bro. Bill Webb officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Palmer, 73, of Meehan, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Rush Hospital. She was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church. Momma was a loving mother, grandmother, and she was our best friend.

    She is survived by son, Bill Palmer of Meridian; daughters, Mary Cook and husband Baxter of Meehan, and Vanessa Smithson and husband Steve of Marion; grandchildren, Daniel and Samantha Cook, and Darby Smithson; sister, Julia Mae Watson; aunt, Lottie Atkinson Dearman; a loving friend and father of her children, Freeman Palmer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, E.J. and Esther Mae Tucker Duell; sisters, Lorraine Hayes and her twin sister, Nell Ivy.

    Pallbearers will be Freeman Palmer, Bill Palmer, Steve Smithson, Baxter Cook, Daniel Cook, and Lee Ford.

    Visitation will Tuesday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
