Marjorie Galyean Young

MERIDIAN —



    Graveside services for Marjorie Galyean Young will be held Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, with Bro. Phillip Smith officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Mrs. Young, 90, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Oaks Rehabilitation Center in Meridian. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Calvary Chapter.

    Survivors include her two sisters-in-law: Rose Galyean and Lola Ruth Gaylean; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred and Allie Galyean; her husband, John D. Young; and, three brothers: Harlan, William Ed, and Floyd Galyean.

    Pallbearers are to be her nephews.

    Visitation will be Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at New Hope Baptist Church.
