HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Two suspects indicted earlier this year in a federal drug probe have entered into plea agreements in U.S. District Court.
The Hattiesburg American reports 32-year-old Tighe Jarod Lee of Columbia pleaded guilty to possession of more than 28 grams of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. He may be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison.
Lee also was indicted on a charge of possession of an unspecified amount of crack.
Thirty-one-year-old Terris Russell Jefferson of Kokomo pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute of less than 50 kilograms of marijuana, which carries a penalty of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
He also was indicted on three counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Both suspects are scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 6.
