COLUMBIA, Miss. — A Marion County judge has declared Damos Daniels not guilty of murder in a 2010 slaying.
Circuit Judge Prentiss Harrell issued the directed verdict Wednesday in favor Daniels, who had been indicted for murder in the shooting death of Kenroderick Jefferson.
It came out during trial that Daniels was an informant for the FBI. That agency had held Daniels in an undisclosed location until this week.
