MCCOMB, Miss. — McComb police say a body found Tuesday afternoon may be that of a 71-year-old man who has been missing since Sept 14.
The Enterprise-Journal reports L.C. McBride was reported missing by his niece Joyce Barr.
Police do not know a cause of death, and an autopsy has been ordered.
Police called in the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation to help remove the body, which officials said was badly decomposed.
