Miss. man charged with possessing child porn

GULFPORT, Miss. — An Ocean Springs man has pleaded not guilty to a federal charge of possession of child pornography.

The Sun Herald reports Robert A. Ormsbee is accused of downloading onto a personal computer hard drive one or more images of minors engaged in sexually explicit acts. The incident occurred on or about April 14.

The indictment was returned on Jan. 24.

Ormsbee appeared in U.S. District Court last week. He's tentatively scheduled to go to trial in March.

After his court appearance, Ormsbee was released from custody under a $25,000 bond.
