'Not guilty' plea in immigrant prostitution case

GULFPORT, Miss. —

A man facing a federal charge of harboring an illegal immigrant for the purpose of prostitution has pleaded not guilty.

The SunHerald reports that 54-year-old Moonseop Kim entered the not guilty plea on Wednesday.

A criminal complaint says Kim was arrested in September after driving a woman to a hotel in Biloxi where she thought she was meeting a client for sex. Undercover officers had allegedly arranged the meeting.

The complaint says the investigation led to a house in Biloxi that appeared to be set up for harboring illegal immigrants for prostitution.
