Wreck kills Biloxi man

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. — Sheriff Mike Byrd says a 66-year-old Biloxi man died in Jackson County traffic accident.

Byrd tells The Mississippi Press Bruce Edwards, who was a passenger in his grandson's pickup truck, was taken to Ocean Springs Hospital, where he later died Tuesday night.

The wreck happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Daisy Vestry and Johnson Still roads.

Byrd says the grandson, 18-year-old Michael Hickman, pulled out in front of a southbound Jeep, driven by 25-year-old Brandon Talley, of Vancleave.

The drivers were not injured.
