Gulfport man arrested after fire at his home

GULFPORT, Miss. — Gulfport police have arrested a man on a first-degree arson charge after a fire at his home.

The Sun Herald reports an investigation led police the conclusion the owner, Keith Edwin Moore, had allegedly set fire to the house.

Moore was arrested just before 7 a.m. Wednesday and taken to the Harrison County jail.

Judge Brandon Ladner set his bond at $25,000.

It's not clear whether Moore has an attorney.
