GULFPORT, Miss. —
One person was injured during a shooting at a Gulfport Family Dollar store.
Sgt. Matt Thomas tells The Sun Herald officers responded to the shooting around 7:15 Sunday night.
He said the victim was in stable condition and several suspects were taken into custody.
The names of the victim and suspects have not been released.
A 41-year-old man accused in a high-profile murder case elected not to attend the first day of his trial.
