Diamondhead credit union robbed

Diamondhead, MS —

Authorities are looking for a man they say robbed the Keesler Federal Credit Union in Diamondhead.

Hancock County Chief Deputy Don Bass tells The Sun Herald the man entered the building about 1 p.m. Thursday and said he had a weapon.

Bass says the bandit displayed a note or some other object to a teller, then left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses told investigators the man was picked up outside the building by someone driving a small gray car.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
