BILOXI, Miss. (AP) — A judge has sentenced a 29-year-old Biloxi man to 37 years in prison for coercing a 3-year-old girl to perform sex acts on him and for having hundreds of pornographic pictures of young children on his computer.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/StHsDO ) Judge Roger Clark sentenced Johnathan Robert Necaise to 30 years for sexual battery and seven years for exploitation of a child, which is the state's charge for having child pornography.
Clark ordered Necaise to serve the sentences consecutively. His prison terms must be served day for day.
The judge described the crimes as "reprehensible" at Tuesday's sentencing in Harrison County Circuit Court.
Necaise was arrested Aug. 19, 2011, after a child told someone about sexual activity with him.
