Biloxi police: Pedestrian killed near US 90

BILOXI, Miss. — Biloxi Police say a man who got out of his pickup truck on the U.S. Highway 90 service drive was hit by car and killed.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said 28-year-old Brian Grant of Meridian was a passenger Monday night in a crew truck for a lawn care service.

He had gotten out of the passenger side of the truck to switch places with the driver when he was struck. Grant was pronounced dead on the scene.

Biloxi Police are still investigating the case.
