WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a tanker truck carrying more than 8,000 gallons of gasoline exploded on Interstate 95 in South Florida.
No one was injured in the Monday morning crash but the northbound lanes were closed for several hours. Most lanes have reopened.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the truck was traveling north when it swerved to avoid an abandoned vehicle. The tanker separated from the cab and burst into flames.
The crash site was near Palm Beach International Airport.
