MERIDIAN —
Interstate 20/59 will be closed Sunday sometime between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Betts Radcliff Road on the east side of the overpass and at Dees Road on the west side of the overpass.
Workers will be installing transmission lines across the interstate during the road closures, which are expected last between 10 and 15 minutes on each side of the interstate.
“We would like to urge motorists to take extra precaution while driving through this temporary work zone,” said Central District Transportation Commissioner Dick Hall. “We look forward to completing this project safely while causing minimal traffic delays throughout the area.”
