MERIDIAN —
A man walking near the intersection of 20th St. and 25th Ave. Tuesday evening was shot in the arm during a robbery attempt, according to police.
The shooting occurred at about 7:30 p.m. The victim told officers with the Meridian Police Department he was approached by two black males who tried to rob him.

The man went to a local hospital where police were called.
The victims wound was not life threatening.
